What makes G&E different?
The G&E offices are high tech, digital, and family friendly. And the initial appointment is always free. A doctor will examine your child's teeth, jaws and bone structure. We may take photographs, scans, or low-radiation digital x-rays, then we will sit down with you and explain everything that should be done, why it should be done, when your child should begin treatment, and what it will cost.
How soon should my child be evaluated?
Most children don't require orthodontic treatment at a young age. However, the G&E Team likes to see kids early because abnormal crowding or jaw structure can require an appliance as early as six or seven years of age. Planned, early intervention sets the stage for painless and very productive treatment later in middle school or high school.
Are orthodontics expensive?
Proper orthodontics will positively impact your child for life. Discount, improper orthodontics will also impact your child by creating a lifetime of problems with their jaws, bite, teeth, and associated physiology.
After the treatment plan is determined, you won't be charged hidden fees for record-keeping or retainers. We don't like surprises and neither should you. Everything is included in the treatment plan that's created for your child, from start to finish.
How long will my child be in treatment?
Once you have a treatment plan in place, your child will be seen for as long as it takes to accomplish the goal. Every person is different, and every treatment plan is also different, but the G&E team will monitor your child until the entire process is complete.
Our patients and their families become our family. We care deeply about our patient's individual goals and their longterm health. We're proud to say that we've treated two and sometimes three generations of families in Northern Virginia.
That's the Griffin & Errera difference.
